PRISCILLA NKAMO BANDO DITLHONG

Ms Ditlhong is quite a versatile individual, who has the niche in learning different types of working environment, and can relate to any client, in any given circumstance.
As a teenager she sought part time jobs when schools were closed, so as to learn how the working environment works. She has worked as a Salesperson, and updated a pay roll system as an Accounts Clerk. In 4th year attachment she worked as an intern at DPP, where she appeared and filed documents at court on behalf of her superiors, drafted court documents, and did research and assignments given.
Ms Ditlhong is an LLB and LLM holder from the University of Botswana. After completing her Bachelors Degree in Law, she joined BLLAHWU where she worked for a year. In her duties, she dealt with issues of labour law, insurance law, business law, contracts and insolvency. She also prepared and drafted documents for the CEC, so that members would be taught of their rights and entitlements.
Thereafter she was appointed a Magistrate, where she sat on the bench for 9 years. She presided over matters from across all fields of law, e.g criminal, contract, civil, property, family and urgent applications. In being a Magistrate she also supervised stuff and reviewed them, and had to head the Station, when her Supervisor was indisposed. Thus she is well versed with Administrative law, and Public Administration. Ms Ditlhong in performing her mandate as a Magistrate was expeditious, and always delivered her rulings, judgements and sentences on dates scheduled. She was focused and driven in ensuring that justice is dispensed with, within a reasonable time.
Ms Ditlhong founded the firm on the 26th May 2020 and officially opened it on the 28th of May 2020, and has since strived to ensure that the firm’s clients are happy with their legal representation, and their matters are dispensed with accordingly, within a reasonable time. She is a dedicated attorney, and always puts clients needs first, therefore ensures the firm runs smoothly, thus clients are sure to receive the best legal services.

LINGANI MOKOLWANE

Mr Mokolwane entered the legal fraternity as an intern at Ministry of Defence Justice and Security for 6 months. In his duties he analyzed and solved security related issues, basic office administration and clerical functions, and effectively assisted to maintain efficient office operations.
Thereafter he became a Prosecutor for 3 years 3 months. As a Prosecutor he prosecuted all criminal matters effectively, thus ensuring victims rights and justice was served. Thereafter he went to serve the Office of the Ombudsman, where he investigated and dealt with issues of maladministration for 1 year.
Mr Mokolwane then joined the armed forces as Special Entrant Officer Cadet, for 6 years. In the force he rendered legal advice to members of BDF, reviewing charges for legal sufficiency, issuing instructions to the Attorney General on matters involving BDF, litigating in Court Martials, High Court, and Court of Appeal on matters involving BDF. He also conducted legal capsules, supervised legal clerks and ensured adherence to management of records and security information, assessed the urgency of situations and determined appropriate actions, and monitored status of pending matters. He further provided follow up and kept superiors informed by communicating a wide variety of information.
Mr Mokolwane leaves the force where the served so diligently as a Captain, having started as Judge Advocate, and leaving as a Prosecution Officer. He is versatile and an extrovert thus makes for a great addition to the team, and with his exceptional dedication to his work, clients are sure to be served diligently.

THAPELO BINNIE DITLHONG
Human Resource Manager
COMPETENCIES
Ms Ditlhong has extensive experience in Human Resources, for she has been in administration for over 30 years, and therefore is well accustomed to all that is necessary in the field, and ensuring that the law firm runs smoothly.
Ms Ditlhong started her career as a Temporary Setswana teacher for 1 year, at Lentswe Junior Secondary School. She then joined the Department of Local Government, Lands and Housing as a Registry Clerk, for two years. Thereafter she became an Assistant Administration Officer at Department of Buildings & Architectural for 1 year; where she authorized payments of Industrial Class, supervised Junior Stuff, prepared budget (manpower & recurrent) and was a liaison officer between the Ministry and the Department administratively.
Ms Ditlhong was then promoted to an Administration Officer and posted at Ministry of Local Government, Lands and Housing, where she worked for 1 year, and continued to perform her duties diligently and exceptionally. Thus, was promoted once more to Senior Administration Officer and posted to Selibe Phikwe Regional Development Project for 1 year. Thereafter she joined the Directorate of Public Service Management for 3 years as a Senior Personnel Officer. Where after she was then transferred on promotion to Ministry of Agriculture as a Principal Administration Officer, whee she worked for 1 year.
Ms Ditlhong continued to climb up the ladder and was transferred to the High Court of Botswana at Lobatse, where she worked for 6 years, and became a Human Resource Manager; dealing with supervision of personnel, authorizing payments, training, recruitment, records keeping of personnel files, requesting things to be purchased from the Supplies Office, and heading the Wellness Committee Manning Human Resource Department. Thereafter she was transferred to Ministry of Finance (2001-2003), based at Department of Supplies to continue her work as a Human Resource Officer. She was then transferred to head office at Ministry of Finance and Development on promotion as Assistant Director II for 2 years, then got promoted to become Assistant Director I, and worked there till retirement for 3 more years.
Ms Ditlhong left Ministry of Finance, and became an entrepreneur for 8 years; running a pick and drop for toddlers. In 2016 she opened a joint venture, where she continued her work in HR at BBD SASS PTY LTD for 4 years. Thereafter she joined the firm in 2020, from date of inception. With her vast experience in HR, and law, she makes the running of the firm smooth, and ensures clients receive the best service from the firm, and caters for the welfare of the team.

Mrs Simon-Lekau worked as a Clerk of Court for 9 years at Extension 2 and Village Magistrate Court, and left her job as a Senior Clerk of Court in 2016.
In her job as a Clerk, she set down matters, registered new matters, assigned the matters to the Magistrates, and did taxation. She also supervised other Clerks, and dispatched orders. She was very effective in her work, and worked with Magistrates as a Court Manager, and was always ensuring her files are setdown, and dispensed with to the Magistrate handling the matter, and assisting clients diligently.
Mrs Simon-Lekau thereafter became an Administration officer for the Legal Section, at Snyman and Partners, and her job before she joined the firm was a Debt Collector at Prosale Holdings PTY LTD.
Mrs Simon-Lekau has vast experience in the legal Fraternity, and ensures all clients files are up to date, and everything that needs to be filed, or attended is done. Therefore assists in and the smooth running of the firm.

Ms Bareetseng is not only a liaison officer, she is responsible for ensuring that our matters are filed at court, and collects all and every mail that has to do with the firm.
Ms Bareetseng assists the Legal Secretary in performing other duties, by receiving mails, logging in and out documentaries etc. She also works hand in hand with the Legal Secretary to take calls, messages, set appointments, and is the first point of entry for clients as they come in.
Ms Bareetseng is likeable, professional, and ensures the firm runs smoothly by ensuring all outgoing and received documents, are file accordingly and served. She joins the firm, having worked for Global Care Cleaning Services, Modithito Hygienic and Mbikiwa Legal Practice; where she has learnt necessities required in a law firm, having worked there for 6 years. Thus is a great asset to the firm.
